Mid-America Transplant Services Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply: The Mid-America Transplant Services Scholarship will provide up to eight students intending to pursue careers in critical care nursing fields with $5,000.00 grants that are renewable for up to four years. Students must be permanent residents of the St. Louis metropolitan area and pursuing nursing (RN, BSN) at accredited, nonprofit schools. Awards are based on financial need, strength of character, and academic potential. Preference will be given to students under-represented in the field of critical care nursing, such as male students and African-American students.

Submission: To apply, students must complete this opportunity for the Mid-America Transplant Services Scholarship AND The Scholarship Foundation Interest-Free Loan Application in Scholarship Central by April 15, 2015. To be considered for the Mid-America Transplant Services Scholarship, students must meet all qualifications of The Scholarship Foundation Interest-Free Loan. Students who are selected to receive the Mid-America Transplant Services Scholarship may also be given an opportunity to accept or decline an interest-free loan or other grants through The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.
