- Fine arts programs significantly add to the process of learning and help students develop into well-rounded individuals.
- As students develop their creative minds, creative programs allow students to discover who they are and what they are passionate about. Dance, in particular, promotes creativity, improves the way in which people see themselves, allows people to express themselves emotionally, promotes diversity, and exposes people to other cultures.
- This scholarship seeks to provide financial assistance in order to make college more accessible and help dancers follow their passion.
- Any undergraduate student who is majoring in dance may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but underrepresented minorities are particularly encouraged to apply.
