Naegle & Crider Community Scholarship (Deadline: December 31, 2016)

Who Can Apply: The Naegle & Crider Criminal Defense Attorneys Community Scholarship is open to high school or college students of any major. To be eligible for the 2016/2017 awards, high school students must be on track to graduate by May 2017 and college students must show current or future enrollment in a degree program at the time of application. All applicants must reside in the state of Arizona. The scholarship can be used for tuition, housing, school supplies or student transportation costs.

Submission: The essay must be 500 words and be in response to the following prompt:

A group of your classmates were recently involved in a deadly car crash. Police say all three students in the car had a blood alcohol level that was over the legal limit and a woman passed away after being hit head on by the vehicle driven by your classmates. What can you, along with your community, do to get the message across that drinking and driving kills?”
