Who Can Apply: The Polson & Polson, P.C. Conquering Adversity Scholarship is available to individuals currently enrolled in a course of study at any duly accredited community or junior college, undergraduate or graduate degree program anywhere in the United States. Also eligible are high school graduates or GED holders who are about to embark on college-level studies.
Submission:
- A current resume, updated contact information and statement of student status/program level
- An original essay of approximately 750 words (12-point, Times New Roman font preferred) which articulates a circumstance or time-period which presented hardship and explains how those challenges were conquered and were prevented from deterring the applicant’s drive to further the greater good
- An updated transcript (unofficial transcripts acceptable) from the applicant’s current institution; college freshmen may substitute an unofficial transcript from the most recent school attended, along with any available unofficial transcripts from their current institution of higher education
