Who Can Apply: Its Possible Scholarship is available to Individuals who have a diploma from any accredited public or private high school or who have earned the General Education Development (GED) certificate, who have experienced at least a two year interruption in higher learning, and have been residents of Calhoun County for at least two years are eligible to apply for thescholarship without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin, or disability.
Submission: An essay is required with the application. The student is asked to describe his/her personal aspirations, educational, and career goals. In addition to the required essay, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation: one educational and one professional, and must also sign an affidavit certifying that he/she meets eligibility requirements of the scholarship. Finalist s for the scholarship will be required to complete an interview with the Scholarship Review Committee.
