Who Can Apply: In support of our Core Value of Support for Family, we (Quality Technology Services, LLC) are pleased to offer the QTS Student Scholarship Program. This program provides competitive, need-based scholarships with a maximum annual award of $5,000 which can be used to cover higher education expenses including tuition, room and board, and other institutional expenses related to receiving a degree. The scholarship is renewable for a total of four years of college education as long as the student meets the renewal requirements.

The QTS Student Scholarship is available only to children of current QTS employees or deceased employees. Within the scope of this program, “child” means a dependent natural or adopted child or a dependent stepchild or ward of a QTS employee who resides within the employee’s home. The child must be unmarried, under the age of 24, and a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States at the time of application. Eligible dependents of current employees must be listed on line 6c of the employee’s most recent federal tax return when the employee is listed on line 6a or 6b.

The parent on whom the application is based must be:

  1. a current employee with at least one year (12 months) of full-time, continuous service on the date the application is due, or
  2. an employee who died while a full-time QTS employee who had completed at least one year (12 months) of continuous service by the application due date. Children of executive-level personnel (C-level and Vice Presidents) are not eligible for consideration.

Preference will be given to a student applicant wishing to receive a first-time award in order to pursue a degree program, and the applicant must be a high school or home-schooled senior, a high school graduate, or a current postsecondary undergraduate student. An applicant may be eligible to apply for a scholarship to take effect in years after the first year of college if the applicant’s parent did not have the required one-year of service when the student began his or her college experience. In order to be considered for selection, a student must have been accepted for full-time undergraduate study for the upcoming academic year at an accredited institution of higher education which is chartered within the United States.
