Who Can Apply: With a preference for undergraduate applicants, REDW will fund 2 students each year to study Accounting; however, graduate students who intend to obtain a CPA will also be considered. Scholarships will be awarded to United States Federally-recognized American Indian and Alaska Native community members (students). To be considered, applicants must be pursuing a career and degree in the field of ACCOUNTING only.
- Undergraduate: Must be a full-time accounting degree-seeking college undergraduate junior or senior; and must meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria.
- Graduate: Must be a full-time accounting degree-seeking graduate student (some MBA’s will be considered – you must select “Accounting” in response to the question, “Major/Field of Study” in the General Application) and have financial need.
Submission: Personal Statement: Please submit a (no more than) 500 word statement describing your career intentions relating to your degree, placing specificity on your intentions in and with Native American communities.
Deadline: June 1, 2015
Amount: $2500 per year up to 2 years
