Who Can Apply:
- Robert “Bob” Lawyer was a beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother who experienced a tragic and unexpected death in 2018 when he was just 52 years old.
- Bob was a huge proponent of doing what you loved and chasing your passions with enthusiasm. He believed strongly in his local community and was devoted to improving it. He remained committed to empowering people to serve their communities to make a difference throughout his life, participating in various charitable and church activities as well as Rotary International and Junior Achievement.
- This scholarship aims to support non-traditional students who are forging a new path forward for their families in higher education.
- Any first-generation high school, undergraduate, trade school, or graduate student who is a non-traditional student (26 or older, etc.) with demonstrated experience in their intended field may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but students from rural communities are preferred.
