Who Can Apply: Available to entering freshmen and continuing University of Utah students who participated in a Salt Lake or Tooele County Head Start Program as a child. This scholarship provides tuition for 12 credit hours and room and board for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016.
- Typed personal statement of one page written by the student adressing the topic: “how the Head Start program benefitted you as a child and outlining your life goals“
- Two letters of recommendation that address the student’s academic promise, maturity, moral character, leadership, and perseverance (not from family members)
