Who Can Apply:
- The Sammy Hason, Sr. Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of a lifelong learner, accomplished pharmacist, and successful commercial real estate broker whose most cherished role was that of a devoted father and loving husband.
- Diagnosed with a rare lung condition at a young age, Sammy faced life’s challenges with resilience, purpose, and compassion. This annual scholarship will be awarded to one recipient who shares Sammy’s passion for helping others through a career in health care. Applicants are asked to submit a one-page summary describing how they plan to improve the lives of others. Through this scholarship, Sammy’s enduring commitment to service and learning will continue to inspire future health care professionals.
- Any high school or undergraduate student who is pursuing healthcare to support patients who have lung disease and/or rare conditions may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
