San Juan Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship (Deadline: April 1, 2015)

Who Can Apply:

  • The San Juan Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship (SJCN) is to be awarded to a graduating high school student who will attend an educational institution after graduation from high school.
  • In 2015, the San Juan Coloradans for Nebraska fund will provide two scholarships to graduating seniors. One scholarship will be for $1,000 to a senior graduating from a Montrose County High School. The second scholarship will be for $,1300 for a senior graduating from Montrose High School.


  • Must demonstrate good citizenship and service to community.
  • Must complete an application.
  • Must attach an essay. In a maximum of one page, please discuss who you are, your goals for the future, factors that led you to choose the vocational course you are pursuing, goals you have set for yourself, and why you are deserving of this scholarship.
  • Must attach a transcript.
  • Must attach a resume.
  • All documents must be submitted on front side only.
  • Must be citizen of the United States of America.
