Scholarship Name: ANS Undergraduate Scholarships
Description: The American Nuclear Society makes more than 12 scholarships available to undergraduate students pursuing careers in the nuclear sciences. This includes things like decontamination and re-utilization studies, which warrant special scholarships. Special consideration is given to students studying in areas with a large nuclear presence, that require clean-up and community programs, like Pittsburgh, PA. Undergraduate scholarships are reserved for students who have completed at least one year of studies, and some awards are specifically offered to juniors and seniors. Most undergraduate scholarships in memorial of ANS fellows who were progressive and innovative thinkers.

United States Society on Dams
Scholarship Name: USSD Scholarship Program
Description: Graduate students who are conducting research relating to dam design and construction can apply for scholarships from the United States Society on Dams. Scholarships are awarded to students that are already members of the USSD, based on the innovation of their research to solve design and implementation problems facing dams in the United States. To become a member of the USSD, students need only be enrolled full time in a university program; annual dues are are discounted for student members.
