Who can Apply: The Advocates at Driggs, Bills & Day are happy to announce our new scholarship program. Everyone at our firm, attorneys and assistants alike, values education and helping those in need. We also understand that school can place a tremendous financial strain on both students and their families. In an effort to help with the costs of attending college, we are excited to be offering two $1,000 scholarships for the 2015-2016 (spring) and 2016-2017 (fall) school year to current or prospective college students.

The personal injury attorneys at The Advocates work closely with accident victims and their families every day. We know the long-term effects an injury can have on peoples’ lives.

How to Apply: The application process:

  • The applicant should submit an 300-500 word essay on the following topic:

Millions of people each year are killed or injured in accidents involving cars or other motor vehicles. What are some ways YOU can contribute to making our roads and highways safer? What are some of the ways the laws can be changed to accomplish that goal?

  • After considering the applications, we will select five finalists and post their essays on our blog and Google + page. The two students that generate the most “buzz” are the winners!

Deadline: December 11th, 2015 for Spring 2016 term and May 15, 2016 for the Fall 2016 term.

Amount: $1,000
