The Joel C. and Elizabeth L. Hall Educational Fund (Deadline: February 14, 2020)

Who Can Apply: Provides scholarships to qualified and needy young men and women who will enroll in, or are enrolled in, an accredited four-year college or university that is associated with the United Methodist Church. While applicants may pursue any course of study, preference will be given to students studying to become a Methodist minister. Further, preference will be given to students from the City of Martinsville, and the counties of Henry, Patrick, Franklin, and Pittsylvania.

The applicant must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must be enrolled at least part-time in an educational program at an accredited four-year college or university that is associated with the United Methodist Church.
  • Have an annual household income of no more than $85,000.

Deadline: February 14, 2020

Amount: $1,000
