The UW–Madison Ronald E. McNair Scholarship (Deadline: November 9, 2015)

Who Can Apply:

1.      Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States

2.      Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at UW-Madison

3.      Have a minimum of four academic semesters before completion of undergraduate degree

4.      Have an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 2.9. Transfer students should contact the McNair Program Office in 408 Bascom Hall for additional information.

5.      Be a member of a group underrepresented in graduate education (American Indian/Native American, Hispanic/Latino/a,  Black/African American)

6.      Have an interest in a career path in which a Ph.D.is required

7.      Be willing to participate in all McNair sponsored activities/events including completing at least one summer research internship of 320 to 400 hours in the summer before the senior year
