Who Can Apply:
- Applicant must be a student who will be entering his or her 1st or 2nd year of graduate school or law school as of Fall 2020, who will be enrolled, and who will continue to be enrolled during the entire award year (2020-2021 academic year), in a full-time graduate degree program at a member institution of the Environmental Consortium. [If you are an entering 1st year graduate or law student, you must be accepted into, and intend to attend in Fall 2020, a member institution and include proof of acceptance with this application.
- Demonstrate excellence and outstanding dedication to environmental conservation through a field of study that falls within an environmental field of a school or department, such as: ecology; hydrology; conservation biology; fisheries, natural resource management; zoology; environmental studies, science, law or policy.
- Use scholarship funds to further applicant’s studies. The recipient will use this scholarship to further his or her studies, and after graduation consider employment in either the public or private sector furthering the cause of environmental protection and riparian habitat conservation for the benefit of all.
- Based on a 4.0 scale, the applicant must demonstrate merit with a current 3.5 GPA in the environmental concentration courses and an overall minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
