Who Can Apply:
- Sgt. Owen James Lennon passed away too soon after being killed in service for the United States Marine Corps.
- Owen gave his life while serving others and would want to leave behind a legacy of helping students complete their degrees so they can continue helping others. People in fields such as medicine, public health, and education can have lasting impacts on countless individuals and need to be supported throughout their education so they can go on to make a positive difference in the world.
- In honor of Owen J. Lennon, this scholarship will support a student in achieving their educational goals.
- Any high school student at Ramapo High School in Spring Valley, New York, who has volunteering experience and will be pursuing a two or four-year degree program in a field benefiting others (such as medicine, education, public health, etc.) may apply for this scholarship.
