Veridian Credit Union Scholarship (Deadline: February 5, 2016)

Who Can Apply:

  1. The Incoming Freshman Scholarship is open to any student classified as an incoming freshman enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or vocational program in the 2016-2017 academic year.
    One $1,000 scholarship and one $500 scholarship will be awarded.
  2. The Undergraduate Scholarship is open to any non-freshman student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or vocational program in the 2016-2017 academic year.
    One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.
  3. The Graduate Scholarship will award one $1,000 scholarship to a student enrolled in an accredited graduate program in the 2016-2017 academic year.
    One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.

Submission:

  1. Entrants are required to write an essay of approximately 500 words on the following topic:
    Who is your financial hero (i.e. someone you look up to because they set a good example for managing finances) and why?
  2. The essay must be the original work of the entrant.
  3. The essay must be typed or computer printed, double-spaced on white 8 ½ x 11-inch paper.
