Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health Scholarship (Deadline: February 15, 2020)

Who Can Apply: The Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health Scholarship provides an award to a qualified high school senior or graduate. Applicants must be a dependent of an employee of Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Previous recipients are given preference and may reapply through the annual application process if GPA is 3.0 or above.

  • A dependent child of a Henry Ford Allegiance Health employee who has at least one year of service

  • Must carry a 3.0 GPA in the prior two years of formal education

  • Demonstrate good citizenship qualities in school and community

  • Students must major in the field of health care.

  • Preferential treatment will be given to students in their second year and above who demonstrate a commitment to a specific program

  • Must be enrolled in a two or four year accredited public/private college or university carrying a minimum of 12 semester hours or equivalent

  • Proof of financial need
