William & Fannie Steinberg Endowed Scholarship (Deadline: November 1, 2018)

Who Can Apply: Drs. Michael and Salme Steinberg established this scholarship to honor Michael’s parents and their civic engagement and to help to make study abroad possible for students who value the causes in which they believe, providing scholarship aid to those who have demonstrated their commitment to peace, human rights, civil liberties, social betterment or environmental protection through volunteer activities, publications, and/or academic interests and career plans.

  • Applicants must be accepted to and attend an IES Abroad standard program in the fall, spring, academic year or calendar year
  • Applicants must be undergraduates in good standing at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Applicants must have documented financial need
  • Applicants must demonstrate commitment to and involvement in activities related to peace, human rights, civil liberties, social betterment or environmental protection

Amount: $2,000
