Who Can Apply: The Edna M. Blum Endowed Scholarship for NY Residents is open to students with an unmet financial need attending colleges/universities throughout the United States. The scholarship will provide an award up to $5,000 depending on the financial need of the student as determined by the University or College that the selected student attends. This is a one time award to be disbursed during the current 2023-2024 school year.
Qualified candidates must:
- be from the NYC area (one of the 5 buroughs ONLY)
- be a full time undergraduate student at an accredited 4- year college or university
- file a 2023-2024 FAFSA
- have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Submission:
- one unofficial or official academic transcript
- an essay ( see the prompt located in the ESSAY section of the application)
