Who Can Apply:
- The Malcolm X Scholarship for “Exceptional Courage” is directed towards undergraduate students, who are enrolled at one of the UNCF Institutions.
- This scholarship was developed by Spike Lee to increase the awareness about the life and contributions of Malcolm X within society.
- The program will provide scholarship support for students, who have overcome difficult circumstances or challenges in pursuit of their college education.
- Students can be enrolled in any accredited fields of study at their UNCF institution.
- Spike Lee was also able to garner support for this scholarship program from Allen Killil, Abkeo Music and Records and other major contributors.
- The candidates will be required to submit the following documents: On-line Application, Resume, Transcript, Two Essays and an Academic Recommendation.
