Who Can Apply:
- Be a US citizen or US permanent resident.
- Be currently enrolled (for the 2023-2024 academic year) as a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior at a UNCF Member Institution or other accredited 4-year HBCU, who will be enrolled as a full-time junior or senior for the 2024-2025 academic year at a UNCF Member Institution or other accredited 4-year HBCU.
- Have a declared academic major in a STEM-related field, accounting, finance, human resources, or information technology.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2024-2025 academic year, and have a demonstrated unmet financial aid need as verified to UNCF by the applicant’s institution.
- Have demonstrated leadership skills through on-campus extracurricular and volunteer activities.
Submission:
- A current official or unofficial academic transcript.
- List 2-4 examples each of leadership and community service completed within the last 2 years.
- A 1-page personal statement of career interest.
- One (1) Reference Form submitted by a non-relative.
