- Devante Lane was a loving son and a young, vibrant college graduate from New York.
- Devante was thoughtful, intelligent, and full of life and was an exceptionally creative person who was passionate about art and fashion. Unfortunately, Devante’s promising future was cut short when he passed away at the early age of 22 due to being the unintended victim of gun violence.
- This scholarship aims to honor the life of Devante Lane by supporting students who have been affected by gun violence.
- Any high school senior or undergraduate student in New York who has been affected by gun violence may apply for this scholarship.
