Who Can Apply: Kids’ Chance of Georgia provides educational scholarships to the children of Georgia workers who have been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured in work-related accidents. Our general scholarships are $2,000 per semester ($4,000 per academic year). We also provide scholarships to high school students that are $100 per month during the academic year.
- Applicants must have a parent or guardian who has been seriously, catastrophically, or fatally injured in a work-related accident
- Meet the criteria of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Act and resulting in financial need
- Between 16-25 years old
- Enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary school (university, technical school, etc.)
- Funding will not exceed five academic years or 10 semesters
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0
