- While our ever-advancing world offers many career opportunities within STEM sectors, women are often overlooked. The underrepresentation of women and STEM begins at a young age, as girls frequently aren’t encouraged to pursue clubs and extracurricular activities involving math and science as much as their male peers.
- This scholarship seeks to empower the next generation of exceptional women in STEM as they pursue their academic and professional journeys.
- Any female high school senior who is an Ohio resident pursuing STEM may apply for this scholarship, but applicants pursuing fields related to the environment/environmental science are preferred.
