Who Can Apply:
· Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or Lawful Permanent Resident;
· Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale;
· Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form;
· Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university;
· Be a college sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled full-time at (in order of selection) any UNCF Member Institution or other accredited four-year
HBCU at the time of award (2025-2026 academic year);
· Declared a major in a STEM-related field (particularly engineering or geosciences), accounting, finance, or information technology; and
· Demonstrated leadership skills through on-campus, extracurricular and/or volunteer activities.
Submission:
- A current official or unofficial academic transcript.
- List 2-4 examples each of leadership and community servicecompleted within the last 2 years.
- A 1-page personal statement of career interest.
