Who Can Apply: Hormel Foods, in partnership with UNCF, created the Hormel Inspired Scholars Program to provide support to college sophomore and junior students who are attending any HBCU during the 2025-2026 school year.
i. Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.
ii. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
iii. Be a sophomore or junior in good academic and personal standing who is enrolled full-time at any Historically Black college or university (HBCU).
iv. File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form.
v. Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by the student’s college or university.
Submission: Completed application packages include: transcript, resume, and a one-page personal statement, All information will be submitted in the appropriate section of the online application.
