Who Can Apply: Turner Construction, a New York corporation with offices located in Reston, VA, has created the UNCF/Turner Construction Scholarship Program in partnership with UNCF to provide renewable need-based scholarships to Washington, DC High School 2023 graduates from Phelps Architecture, Construction and Engineering High School, Anacostia High School, Ballou High School, McKinley Tech High School, Banneker High School, or Dunbar High School, pursuing a degree in a construction industry-related field.
- Have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Annually complete a FAFSA and continue to have a demonstrated unmet financial need, as verified by their college or university.
- Continue to be enrolled full-time as a college junior at a UNCF Member Institution, another HBCU, or any four (4) year institution in the academic year of 2025-2026.
- Pursue a degree in a construction industry-related fields including management, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering.
