Who Can Apply: The 2025-2026 UNCF/Humble Bundle STEAM scholarship provides need-based scholarships to students at HBCUs and selected Arts Institutions. Students must be pursuing degrees in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math) and are pursuing a career in the gaming industry.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Complete a FASFA application form for the current academic year
- Student must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate junior
- Attending a UNCF member institution, HBCU or one of the following Art and Design Schools:
1. California Institute of the Arts
2. Maryland Institute College of Art
3. New York University
4. Otis College of Arts and design
5. Parsons School of Design
6. Pratt Institute
7. Savannah College of Art and Design
8. School of the Art Institute of Chicago
9. The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art
10.University of Southern California, Roski School of Art and Design
Submission:
- Must submit the UNCF online application
- Complete a one-page personal statement responding to the following prompt “How do your personal background, experiences and involvements inform your perspective on diversity in gaming”
- Submit a current official or unofficial transcript
