Who Can Apply:
- Low-income students face many struggles in life and in school which leaves these students working harder to meet their own needs, contribute to their families’ funds, and in return leaves them less time to focus on school. Students who find the time to give back shows the determination and character of a hard-working individual that shows incredible resilience while exemplifying selflessness.
- This scholarship is aimed for students who have big dreams of completing grad school but do not have the resources to afford tuition.
- Any low-income graduate student in Maryland who has a 3.0 GPA with volunteering experience may apply for this scholarship. If a student has a military background you’re strongly encouraged to apply as well.
Submission: Please tell us a bit about yourself and how you would like to make a difference in the world through your future endeavors. Also, please include a photo of yourself volunteering.
