Who Can Apply:
- Vibrant communities that include young artists are a vital part of society that enable people to experience the world through diverse perspectives. Access to an art education is essential to nurturing these young talents.
- Artists come from all walks of life, but financial barriers can often hinder their ability to pursue a fine arts education. Additionally, the financial stress can prevent young artists from fully immersing themselves in their artistic endeavors and education.
- In memory of a dear friend, this scholarship aims to support a student who has a profound passion for the arts but requires financial assistance to achieve their educational aspirations. Those entering their first year of undergraduate education at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle are highly encouraged to apply. However, any undergraduate student at Cornish may apply. This scholarship’s goal is to alleviate the financial burden and allow the recipient to focus entirely on their artistic growth and education, fostering the next generation of artists.
