Who Can Apply: The Liz Colantuono & Mark Sanz Scholarship will provide need-based scholarships to Native Americans, refugees, or children of refugees who are currently enrolled or have been accepted into a 4-year U.S. Based accredited institution. Preference is given to residents of Montana, or a resident of Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico or Idaho.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Have completed the Free Application for Federal Aid (FASFA) form
- Have demonstrated an unmet financial need as verified by the college or university
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident who is a resident of the state of Montana, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming or New Mexico
- Be a high school senior, adult refugee, or a currently enrolled college student of any classification, that has been accepted and will attend or is attending any accredited, U.S based four-year college or university as a full-time enrolled student.
- Have a major in or demonstrate an interest in pursuing a degree in a STEM-related science, education, accounting or journalism.

- A 500 – 750 word essay discussing your aspirations and goals, hurdles you have overcome, and your involvements and interest. ** Please ensure that your essay highlights your ambition to achieve your academic goals.
- Be Prepared to provide 1–3 of each of the following:
- Honors and awards
- Community service
- Leadership experience
