Who Can Apply:
- Young adults who have experienced foster care often face unique challenges when transitioning to independence, including limited financial and community support. Accessing housing, food, and basic necessities can create obstacles that make pursuing higher education more difficult, even for highly motivated students.
- This scholarship is designed to provide meaningful support to individuals who have experienced foster care, enabling them to invest in their education and future goals. This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate resilience, determination, and the potential to thrive academically and personally.
- Eligible applicants include high school, undergraduate, or graduate students who have experienced foster care and may not have a strong support network.
- Through this scholarship, we aim to empower former foster youth with the financial and community support necessary to pursue their educational ambitions with confidence and stability.
Submission: To apply, candidates are invited to submit a short essay reflecting on their experiences in foster care, the challenges they have navigated, and how furthering their education will help them achieve their aspirations.
