- Research has shown that students who engage in multiple activities and pursue diverse interests tend to more fully develop skills like time management, effective communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Working toward proficiency in a foreign language is a great way to get involved, prepare for the future, and learn about other cultures.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who have studied foreign languages and gotten involved in school activities.
- Any four-year undergraduate student in Illinois who has at least a 3.0 GPA and is involved in multiple school activities may apply for this scholarship if they studied a foreign language in high school.
