Who Can Apply:
- As higher education grows increasingly expensive, many students are forced to split their attention between school and work in order to afford tuition and daily living expenses.
- Students who are employed often face challenges their peers don’t have to worry about, such as balancing their work schedule with classes and other responsibilities and sacrificing time that other students use for socialization, relaxation, or extracurricular activities.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who are working their way through school and hustling to afford to pursue their dreams.
- Any undergraduate student who is a rising sophomore or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are a full-time student who has worked at least ten hours per week in the past school year and expects to work at least ten hours per week in the upcoming school year.
Submission: To apply, describe your current experience working part-time while pursuing your degree and tell us about a time when balancing work and school was particularly difficult. Additionally, upload a letter of recommendation or employment verification document from your current employer confirming part-time status of at least ten hours per week for the upcoming school year.
