- Driven by a deep passion for giving back, Karla’s next philanthropic endeavor was to establish a scholarship at her high school alma mater. This initiative is designed to help students pursue junior college or trade school, empowering them to achieve their dream careers.
- The Karla Johnson Memorial Scholarship honors her legacy by supporting Gladewater High School alumni and graduating seniors as they take the next steps toward their goals.
- Gladewater seniors or Gladewater High School alum are eligible to apply, with preference given to students planning to attend, or currently attending, a trade school or junior college.
Submission: Respond to the following questions:
- What college or trade school are you attending? For high school seniors: Please include which schools you have applied to, and if you have been accepted to any. If you know where you will be enrolling, let us know that as well.
- Provide a personal statement of hobbies and extracurricular activities.
- Provide a brief explanation of your career goals.
