Who Can Apply: The Boomer Benefits scholarship is designed for adult students aged 50+ who have returned to school to complete their degree. It recognizes and empowers students who have returned to school later in life to better themselves, advance their current career growth, or pursue a new career.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident age 50 or older
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Currently be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited public or private school, including community colleges or universities within the continental U.S.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a professor they’ve had in the last 2 years, or the Facilitator of a verifiable community service organization
- Include a letter from the applicant describing both of the following:
- Their current career goals and how education will help achieve those goals
- Their community service history and what it has meant to them
- Submit a current official transcript included with their application or mail to 2601 Meacham Blvd STE 500, Fort Worth, TX 76137
- Submit a completed application
