Who Can Apply:
- James G. “Jimmy” Boyd was a beloved brother, uncle, and great-uncle who always loved helping others. He was a proud marine who loved travel and adventure and had a strong passion for sailing. He was always loyal to his family and friends and was a beloved member of his Massachusetts community. He is missed by many.
- Jimmy was an electrician who owned his own electrical company, and he would have liked to pay forward to an aspiring electrician. This scholarship seeks to honor Jimmy’s life and memory by supporting students in pursuing the electrical trade.
- Any trade school student who is pursuing a career as an electrician and maintains at least a 2.75 GPA may apply for this opportunity if they have financial need and are a U.S. citizen.
Submission: To apply, please create a one or two minute video submission explaining why you picked your degree path and your passion in life. Submit a link to your video as a public YouTube link or a Google Drive link. Settings should be sent to “public” or “anyone with this link can view”. If we can’t access your video, your application won’t be considered.
