Who Can Apply:
- The Maynard & Adonna Moreland Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of two lifelong educators from Livermore, California, who devoted their lives to inspiring students and nurturing their families. Maynard and Adonna were not only dedicated teachers but also wholehearted champions of their children and grandchildren. Countless family gatherings were filled with music, performances, and shared laughter—joyful moments that reflected their deep love for creativity and togetherness.
- This scholarship is awarded to students at East Career and Technical Academy, where the Morelands’ daughter, Jayme Rawson, continues the family tradition of working in education. It supports students pursuing any post–high school education—including four-year colleges, trade schools, vocational programs, and other educational paths—and is intended for students who embody the Morelands’ values of perseverance, curiosity, creativity, and service to others.
- Any high school senior at East Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, who will pursue post–high school education as a first-generation college student may apply.
