Who Can Apply: The George Floyd Peace & Justice Memorial Scholarship was created to provide need-based scholarships for graduating seniors attending UNCF Member Institutions or other HBCUs.
- Be a graduating senior who is attending a UNCF member institution or other HBCU
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form
- Commit to use funds to retire institutional debt or reduce college loan indebtedness
- Write an essay discussing a topic related to peace and justice
Submission:
- A one-page essay discussing a topic related to peace and justice
- A current official or unofficial college transcript
- A letter of recommendation
