Who Can Apply: We invite applications from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students, age 17 or older, who are living with Sickle Cell Disease. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, high school graduates, and students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or trade school programs. We especially encourage applications from low-income individuals and those with volunteer experience, particularly in the Sickle Cell community. Age and GPA will not be factors in the selection process.
Submission: Please submit a personal statement that describes your journey with Sickle Cell Disease, explains how you manage its impact on your life, and highlights the sources of inspiration and focus that drive you toward your objectives.
