Who Can Apply:
- Roxanne Hoegger Alejandre is an incredible colleague who has advocated for over 20 years to better the lives of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- One of Roxanne’s special projects was providing advice and legal representation for disadvantaged pregnant or parenting teens at Hilltop High. This work allowed her to directly impact lives and to help teens see all of their potential and go after their dreams.
- This scholarship commemorates Roxanne’s work by supporting pregnant or parenting students who are pursuing post-secondary education.
- Any high school senior in CA who is a pregnant or parenting teen may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are low-income and if they will pursue some form of higher education (including ESL classes) after graduation. However, preference will be given to students from the San Francisco Bay Area, especially those attending Hilltop High School.
Submission: To apply, tell us what you hope to gain from pursuing higher education (ESL classes included). Responses written in Spanish will also be accepted. Include your child’s birthday or due date. Additionally, upload a photo of yourself or a photo of you and your child, if applicable. These are strictly for eligibility verification, and photos will not be shared.
