- Andrew was a beloved son, brother, and friend who passed away too soon, cutting his ambitions and plans short.
- Andrew was a passionate, intelligent, and driven student and dreamed about earning his doctorate in nurse anesthesia. Unfortunately, Andrew passed away during his second year of the program before he was able to finish his degree and embark on his career.
- This scholarship aims to honor the life of Andrew Lopez by supporting students who embody his perseverance and determination and have taken the hand they were dealt and changed their own future.
- Any student pursuing a doctorate in nurse anesthesia may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are either currently enrolled or have been accepted. However, minority students, first-generation college students, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are preferred.
