- Anna Milagros Rivera was a beloved niece who passed away too soon in 2022.
- She had an avid interest in nursing and accounting and was passionate about helping underserved youth in New York City’s Lower East Side neighborhood. Anna was also very proud of her Puerto Rican heritage.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Anna Milagros Rivera by supporting students who share her passions.
- Any female undergraduate student from a female single-parent household who is pursuing nursing or accounting may apply for this scholarship, but applicants of Puerto Rican descent are preferred.
