Who Can Apply: The Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants (AABA) provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate minority students majoring in accounting, finance, and business who have demonstrated academic and leadership excellence. Scholarships ranging from $500 up to $2,500 per recipient are awarded annually to deserving students. A student must have at least one semester left in school in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Be an ethnic minority enrolled in an undergraduate Accounting, Finance or related business degree program or a Master’s level business program.
- Be an AABA member in good standing. AABA membership is currently free. Please visit http://atlantaaba.org to sign up.
- Be a Georgia resident attending college OR a student currently enrolled at a Georgia college or university as a full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent), undergraduate student or be a full-time graduate student (9 semester hours or equivalent) enrolled or accepted into a master’s level business program in the state of Georgia.*
- Have completed at least 3 hours of accounting classes.
- Have demonstrated academic excellence and extracurricular involvement
