- Today and in the years to come, the automotive repair and service industries are facing a severe shortage of skilled technicians.
- In its fifteen years of designing diagnostic software and tools for automotive technicians and repair shops, Autel U.S. has developed a genuine partnership with its users and a sincere appreciation for who they are and the increasing challenges they face. Indeed, one of the struggles within the industry is attracting the best and brightest young people to the field.
- This scholarship aims to lessen the financial burden of college for hardworking and gifted students who have shown their desire to make a future for themselves in the automotive repair industry.
- Any trade school, college or university student who graduated high school in 2025 may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are pursuing an automotive repair program.
Submission:
- To apply, tell us in either a 500 to 600-word essay or a 2 to 3-minute video on why you are interested in a career in automotive repair, and what qualities you believe an automotive repair technician should possess to be successful.
- Additionally, upload a picture of you working on a car. If you choose to submit a video, write “Submitted via a video link” in the essay box and submit a link to your video as a public YouTube link or a Google Drive link. Settings should be set to “public” or “anyone with the link can view.” If we can’t access your video, your application won’t be considered.
