Who Can Apply:
- Avery Melling was a beloved daughter, sister, cheerleader, and Manhattan High School student in Manhattan, Montana. Avery was planning to attend welding school to become a professional welder in her future career.
- Avery sadly passed away in a motor vehicle accident in 2024 when she was just seventeen years old, and she never got to fulfill her goal. She would have graduated in 2026. She showed incredible promise and was known for her impeccable work ethic. She surely would have gone on to an incredible, limitless career had her life not been cut short.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Avery Melling by supporting students who share her goals of attending trade school and pursuing welding.
- Any female high school senior, high school graduate, or trade school student in Montana may apply for this scholarship opportunity if she is pursuing welding and if she has a strong work ethic. Preference will be given to applicants from Gallatin County.
Submission: To apply, tell us where you grew up and what experience you have with sports, hobbies, work, education, or welding. Additionally, upload at least three images showing a welding project, your sports participation, your activities, your jobs, or your hobbies.
