Who Can Apply:
- On March 17th, 2021, we lost Kielyn Toone to gun violence. As a football player at his high school, Kielyn wore #22 and was a role model to many on and off the field.
- He was such a bright light and brought tremendous joy to everyone around him. He always knew how to make people smile on their worst days and truly brought the best out in those he interacted with.
- People like Kielyn don’t come around that often. His genuine spirit and kind nature stood out, and he will forever be missed.
- To honor his attitude toward life and the legacy he left behind, the Be Like 22 Scholarship will be awarded to one student who, like #22, brings joy and happiness to those around them. All students from Bosse High School in Indiana with a 2.5 minimum GPA are eligible to apply.
Submission: To apply, please write a short essay that describes how you strive to bring joy into other people’s lives like Kielyn once did.
