Who Can Apply:
- College-bound high school seniors in Clark County, Nevada, of Black/African American descent with a 2.5 or higher GPA planning to attend an accredited college or university full-time may apply for this scholarship.
- The student may be a senior at a charter or CCSD high school. Preference will be given to students planning to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) and those who identify as female or nonbinary. Financial need will be taken into consideration. At least four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each will be awarded. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years, for a total of $20,000.
Submission: Essay – In at least 500 words, detail the importance of Black role models and the impact representation has on our youth to include how your identity as a Black woman shaped your mindset and life goals.
